Current State Conversation
Thank you to the Financial Internal Controls team members who were able to attend the Current State Conversation on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Gordon Commons.
The event was a continuation of the campus-wide discussion about internal controls and leading financial management practices in higher education. Seven process improvement teams came together for a current state conversation, and spent a full afternoon identifying areas of intersection, potential gaps and learning about each other's work. Collaboration such as this will allow the teams to recommend solutions that best meet customer needs and have appropriate controls, but also that are consistent and complementary to one another.
